Great night out. Called in and got a table on a reasonably busy night. Quiz being held in another part of the venue. Taken to table given menus and drinks order taken. Staff very friendly and attentive without being 'in your face'. Explained some health problems with large portions and were advised we could wait until being served and if too large, They would box it to take with us. This was done very discreetly. Food was excellent; very good chef , the portions and presentation were good and the flavours perfect. We managed all our mains and moved to good old sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. An excellent night, great friendly service, good food with reasonable prices.we will be going back.

Party vibe! Hired the function room for a 50th birthday party. Staff went above and beyond when dealing with food allergies and intolerances. Food was great, cooked in the same kitchen as the restaurant so the same high quality. Great night had by all!

Fabulous function room My fiancé and I hired the function room in Eight South for our engagement party. We couldn't have asked for a better night. The staff were very accommodating with regard to wheelchair access, the food was excellent (as always) and we were really listened to throughout the process. The price was extremely reasonable. Everyone that came to our party commented on what a fantastic venue it was and how nice of an atmosphere it had. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends Thanks again, we will never forget last night
