Fantastic experience For the second year in a row we stopped off at Eight South for pizzas with a large group of kids. We received a fantastic welcome from Trevor and his staff. They also catered for a few specific dietary requirements without any issue. We had the function room below the restaurant which was perfect for our group of 40. The pizzas and chips were delicious. Brilliant service and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

A wonderful gem Just a quick word of thanks to you all for the best evening last night, when we celebrated our daughter’s 16th. Eight South has been our local for years, the food is always super and your staff always have a smile and warm welcome. However, last night reminded us, just how lucky we are to have such a fantastic venue on our doorstep. Thank you all for helping us create the best memories for our family. It seems like only yesterday, we had our now 16 year old there, when only a few weeks old! See you all soon!

Great night out. Called in and got a table on a reasonably busy night. Quiz being held in another part of the venue. Taken to table given menus and drinks order taken. Staff very friendly and attentive without being 'in your face'. Explained some health problems with large portions and were advised we could wait until being served and if too large, They would box it to take with us. This was done very discreetly. Food was excellent; very good chef , the portions and presentation were good and the flavours perfect. We managed all our mains and moved to good old sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. An excellent night, great friendly service, good food with reasonable prices.we will be going back.
