In relation to other Tripadviser users comments regarding the parking, this is an issue which Trevor has dealt with in a professional way ensuring that his customers are able to park within the private car park.  The parking issue within the vicinity of Bettys, McCalls and the Spar is awful as many customers of Bettys are using all the spaces for the neighbouring businesses thus these shops are now losing custom as their customers cannot park outside the shop required rendering them to having to go to another shop. I often go with my friend or my partner and have ordered everything from starters to mains to dessert, my favourite is their bread starter, honey chili chicken and of course their steaks. Their pepper sauce is unreal :) You can always be sure to get a smiling face from staff and there is always some craic from both staff and patrons. Their customer service is bang on and are always willing to help no matter what the request is.   I think it is quite sad that people are now choosing to come to Trip Advisor to leave awful reviews because their loyalties lie with other 'cafes' and have turned personally on Trevor, it is unbelievably childish and immature, and downright nasty. A total embarrassment and they should be ashamed. Personally targeting a man shows everyone a very ugly side of who they actually are.  Personally I will be supporting Eight South even more now - so thank you for the momentum folks. read less
